History

Our company's history began in 1912 (Meiji 45) when our great-grandfather, Shigeshi Watanabe, founded the "Watanabe Section" of Masukawa-gumi (now Masukawa Kensetsu Co., Ltd.) in Yachi (present-day Kahoku Town, Nishimurayama District, Yamagata Prefecture). Founding

1912-1951

1912The previous-previous generation's Shigeshichi Watanabe founded it as the "Watanabe Unit" of the Masukawa Group.

Engaged in various civil engineering sites of the Nobuyoshi Group.

1951The previous generation’s Shōji Watanabe also worked as a supervisor and foreman at Masukawa Construction Co., Ltd.


Establishment

1952-1983

1962Establish "Watanabe Construction"

1968Upon the passing of Shigekichi Watanabe, Shoji Watanabe will inherit the business and become the representative.

1983Watanabe Kensetsu Co., Ltd. was established, and Shoji Watanabe was appointed Representative Director and President.


Now

Showa 59 - Reiwa 8 (1984 - 2026)

Reiwa 6Shōji Watanabe assumes the position of Representative Director and Chairman.

Iori Watanabe Appointed Representative Director and President

Reiwa 7Upon the passing of Shoji Watanabe, he has resigned as Representative Director and Chairman.
